Dr. Bhrett McCabe talks with Dr. Layne Norton about making lifestyle changes in 2018. Dr. Norton is a bodybuilder and has a PhD in Nutritional Sciences.

Dr. Norton cautions not to rely on motivation to get fit. Motivation is a poor way to do anything. Forming good habits can be much more powerful because motivation won't be there all the time.

Don't look at a diet as punishment. Look at it as a commitment you're making to get to the next level. You're not going to stumble into your goals. You have to make them a priority and if you do you will find a way to make it happen.
