You Can’t Rush Growth

What does it take to build a good organization?

Coach Hill says the first step is to get the opportunity. After that you have to have a vision. You must have a good direction and know what you’re trying to build. Once you’ve figured that out you have to convey that message to your team members.

Anything Worthwhile is Going to Have Adversity

The doubt in your head never leaves. You have to tell that voice to shut up. You have to deal with it all the time. People that say they don’t doubt, I think they’re lying. It’s not necessarily the climb to the top, it’s staying at the top.

The Only Thing You Have on Them is a Title

Just because you’re a leader you are just as human as your team members. You must have empathy for them but your job is not to make them happy. Your job is to make the best team possible.

We hope you enjoy this week's episode as much as we did recording it. Thank you to Coach Hill, McNeese State Baseball and https://www.healthiq.com for making it all possible.
